Benefits EADTU membership puts members in the front seat of educational developments in Europe and beyond. Members can be part of the following platforms and activities:
- General Board meetings (reflecting the whole membership);
- Executive Committee meetings (concise subset of membership);
- Rectors’ Assembly (dedicated to Open and distance teaching universities);
- Associations’ Assembly (dedicated to Associations or consortia of conventional universities);
- Task Forces (exponents from Rectors’ or Associations’ Assembly);
- Project participation (EADTU members are invited to take part in European projects with other experts in the field);
- Academic Networks (education, R&D from various disciplines);
- Annual EADTU Conferences (major platform and dissemination event);
- Theme-oriented dedicated seminars (intermediate meeting platform on main topics in HE);
- Consultation meetings (reciprocal information exchange with EC);
- Access to European portals for Academic cooperation.
Membership Full membership The EADTU membership distinguishes between two major categories: - Dedicated open and distance teaching universities. - Organisations/associations including consortia operating in the field of LOF-learning.
Single university membership The fee of single university membership is determined to be half of the full-membership fee of an association/consortium.
Associate membership for non-Bologna countries The fee of associate members is determined to be half of the full-membership fee of a dedicated open and distance teaching university or the association/consortium. |
